Las Vegas Still Leads Nation in Foreclosures

Yesterday, California based RealtyTrac released its latest foreclosure report which shows foreclosure filings, default notices, scheduled auctions, and bank repossessions of 358,471 U.S. properties for the month of August 2009. Las Vegas continues to lead the nation in foreclosure filings with 14,940 properties last month, which accounts for one in every 53 housing units. Las Vegas foreclosures are more than 6.7 times the national average.
